Approved by the members of Gondomar Sport Clube on Monday 23 February 2026 (Lusa, 24 February: an 'esmagadora maioria' of the about 100 present). Approval is not completion: no closing was reported by October 2026, and the club entered its 2026-27 team (AF Porto) under its own name. The buyer is a fund managed by BlueCrow Capital (Lisbon), not named in the report. The club keeps 20% of the SAD and the ownership of its sports facilities, for which the SAD will pay rent. The club was also seeking reinstatement in Liga 2, after the courts annulled the federation ruling that relegated it in the 'Apito Dourado' case (final in 2025).
